It would have had more of an effect on me if it had happened 20 odd years ago when he was still making some reasonable musical contributions before the weirdness and other stuff
Now we just have to deal with an almost Diana-like wave of mawkish public sentiment ... <sigh>

The Brew Cabin's a funny place in the summer - basically it's empty - evreyone's lying outside, catching some rays in that precious half hour.
Was trying to be provocative about MJ - whose socks are those over there in the corner?
Used to enjoy the warm smokey welcoming fug of an early start - nostalgic? - qui moi?

Being serious for a minute ( hate myself for the jokes but like everyone just being human. ) it just goes to show what effect a bullying father has on kids. Apparently he and the others were subjected to terrible abuse. for all their milllions the whole clan showed great humility to people and were very polite etc: M J was without doubt a great entertainer. Was watching his stuff on various channels and had forgotten just how good he was. To the King of pop....respect and R I P.

great dancer, great singer, and a nonce.
if it wasnt for his wallet he'd be alive now in prison on the numbers.
A mate of mine killed himself a couple of years ago ,partly due to the trauma of childhood sexual abuse.
A pop video aint gonna put that right

Are we allowed to state such things on an open forum, even if the person is deceased? I think it is still libel, as MJ was found not guilty by 12 men good and true. As you do LLL i hate nonces, beasts etc.

I'd heard that the latest MJ concert was still going to go ahead - they just renamed it "Chiller"

would he have got a not guilty if he didnt have all those million dollar lawyers?
in america especially money buys justice, look at the drawn out saga of phil spector,if he was a young black kid from the 'hood he would have been on death row by now. same with OJ simpson
it looks like his dr may have killed him with kindness, same with elvis, too many different medications for no real reason

Fames to blame for both deaths. two many drugs, hectic work schedule and both addicted to fast foods. Also the knowledge they are worth more dead than alive :;):

if the times is anything to go by, sounds like he was addicted to hillbilly heroin ==> oxycontin
problem is that if you have a private doctor he will prescribe anything,
maybe MJ did suffer some abuse himself, but nothing excuses his behaviour, sleeping with children (in either sense) is wrong,
IMO the parents that let their kids go to neverland need shooting as well

the man was seriously messed up, if he ever abused kids we`ll never know but the parents who let their kids stay with him deserve to be shot.
some of my best childhood memories involves camping with my grandad, pack-lunch with a can of ginger for us and my grandad with his can of tartan special fishing in the clyde.
