wacker had a set of 3 bolted together at the sed show the other year, think tolly paving use them on the big machine lay jobs

I have seen the video Giles, very impressive
I purchased a MBW vibrating plate, MBW stands for Made Better than Wacker, ???
many years ago before sit on rollers were very popular I used a twin vibrating roller with a big long handle on the sub base of large driveways , you walked behind it and it was a beast of a machine to maneuver

Michael if its only patios your doing one of these would do the job

micheal, you dont need to buy one mate. just hire one as and when you need it. trust me on this you go to any hire place the discount will become great for anything you hire as long as you pay your bill and use them regularly. :p

and most the lads on here will have a hand tamp come in very handy, we know them as tarmacers' heels haha
but just hire then build up the number of patios your doing etc and then buy one

Lol Mick G, id never heard of MBW before you mentioned them, are they Honda engine?, i doubt from what ive seen they are made better than wacker.
Just had a look at them, they dont look much, but hey ive never used one, only have the small honda gx 120 engine though....
the plate i have made by wacker seems proper rock solid but it must be 10 year old at least.

because i dont want to spend that much on a tool i wont use all that much compaired to something like me mower
