They killed 2 drill/drivers yesterday as well.1 old Dewalt and a newish but cheap Fat-max li-on!!! To be fair I do like buying new tools, just not so often.
Managed to get hold of a water kit, brand new from of all places Travis's for only £30, nearly fell through the floor when the guy gave me the price, thank feck they have a coffee machine to calm me nerves.
We've always just tapped a hose onto them, but it does make a mess at the tap and by the cut, mainly due to the pressure, and crap fittings. I've got the guy at the hire shop we use getting me a 410 with a recon engine for £250 and I'm ordering a new one from Stihl, sod it. We have the makita for reserve(back of the lock up for a few years probably) and I do usually hire a bench saw for big drives, since we had our block snapper knicked and don't do enough drives to justify buying one, most of the drives we do are in clay anyway.
