Nice work. The granite job is really tidy. I really like the attention to detail on the cuts and mitres. Pointing is also really crisp. The only thing I would question is the step. How come its in the two unequal pieces? Could it not have been in one full piece or 2 equals?

DEmpsy, both are stunning. I'm going to start using mortar instead of weatherpoint again after looking at your work.

Here's an update on my current project. I'll be ready to lay some astro turf tomorrow.

Thanks Steve

Bullnose came in 1.2m, step was 1.8m. Gave customer the option of 2 equal pieces or 3 equal pieces. She went with her option !! She was happy :)

Good point Tony (no pun intended)

No problem Dempsey. Seeing the work you and the others do with natural stone makes me want to do better.

it was their choice to build tight to the boundary we are 185 mm inside to the edge of our gutter

in reality with a jetwasher I suppose

ours is not to reason why etc etc :;):

he has a trailer with some big ass 4 by 4

think his absolute minimum clearance is 1400mm

weighs about a tonne

they just seem such ergonomic bits of kit

he has about 10 builders and a few farmers he works for now and it saves us a mountain of legwork

he even has a .5 cube concrete hopper but for me the 2 tonne dumper is faster
