Bad news. I have beend conned into hiring a crusher, and he has not returned at along with the plant trailer. He recently did the same scam to one of my suppliers and they lost two dumpers and a crusher. They got one dumper back after it was seen for sale on ebay, but he has not been caught.
Same name, same details. PAYG phone, fake email address. I have got some leads. It was alst seen in yaxley, peterborough.
The trailer is unmistakable, as its painted red, the crusher is only 6months old, and with only one supplier of spares, i think its a matter of time before its brought by someone unsuspecting, and they get caught when they buy spares.

no tony. it was a collection. alarm bells should of rung when it was a "man and van"company that collected it with "his son"
Luckily, i made a note of the company, and i found his website with his picture next to his van, so maybe find out where he delivered it too? I am hoping the police might do that

TBH I would always be a bit dubious of plant collections, apart from wackers or breakers we have never collected any plant
our digger man reckons willow plant want a grand deposit on a lot of plant now like dumpers etc.
how many of those crushers do you reckon there are in the country dan?

But i Do have an address and details of the van man, so its a lead, plus on the night it was picked up, an irate lady phoned from yaxley to complain it was parked in her space, so i had to ring him to ask him to move it.
Tony, i know of a handful. My old machine is in derbyshire, Mark harriss has one, and there were a couple knocking around in kent, but other than me and TCP, not many. Its going to be a hard machine to offload i think

yes, thats the guy who turned up to collect it, not the guy i have been dealing with.
I tried to dangle a carrot to see if he would bite by saying could i come and collect it saturday for a sunday hire, then return it monday with a digger he wanted. The address he gave me did not exist so it was then i knew i had been duped. he texted some rubbish about being in hospital and giving a statement to police, again delaying tactics
