I'm a tech guy so I love the right tool for the job and invest in my tools
Some one was asking why I've got 1 big tool box completely full of floats and trowels, I said because I need the right tool for the job. He seemed bemused that I had magnesium floats, radius ing floats, joint cutters, hard wood float, steel concrete float steel plastering floats and then 5 or 6 finger trowels etc
Have to admire the way the North Americans do it, having spent 5 weeks there last year I need to upload all the geeky photos i took inc the bad stuff hehe

I had to buy them in pack of ten. I have already given one away. That leaves nine I had two in use and I stored the others somewhere safe. Now somewhere safe is in here
and right now I can't find them.
As a man of my word though DN you can have the two I started using, royal mail should have them with you somewhen!!!

I use a mixture of paver markers or cut up strips off a GRP meter box door as they work just as well, always white as it shows up more on most blocks bar argent light which I then use the blue marker, like everything its personal choice

I prefer the blue markers. Last lot I got were from Probst and were white. Still good, but the blue shows up better.
What we do is cut them in half long ways. Then I give one half to my labourer and one half for me. They are easier to use when they are thinner
Always seem to lose them though. Then weeks later they turn up in the washing machine !!
