We spent 5 weeks in the USA this year on two stints for two weddings
First was Rochester, newt York city, Toronto
Second time was Rochester then 2000 mile road trip around New England was amazing
Tipping pissed me off, I got in an argument with one rubbish restaurante in lake placid, over not tipping. (had to ask to order drinks, then food, then wrong cooking on my steak) didn't tip them then destroyed them on trip advisor
Too busy at mo though straight back at it big style on Thursday

dave those pics of the dam are awesome. I watched countless programs about how they built it and the bridge(much to the missus's annoyance) and it still fascinates me. Its on my things to do list, along with niagra falls and grand canyon

Dan, the dam and the Grand Canyon must go on your bucket list. And if you're feeling brave go up the Stratosphere and do one of the rides at the top - I dare ya! (I didn't)
