Hows about that for cursing myself, not 10 minutes after posting, I was called outTommy wrote:The NHS self diagnosing thingymebob is funny, log in to it with a mild headache, and 5 minutes later it tells you, you have Ebola.
Not much snow in the bottom end of the Staffordshire Moorlands, been waiting for a phone call all night to go gritting, but not rang yet :p
But then again it triple time for the first hour, and 4 hours time in lieu, so not all bad.
Been a horrible wind today, swirling all over the shop, blowing the smoke off the fire seemingly right down my throat.

Yeah i would think so steve, its giving it to get a bit warmer, not much, but hopefully enough!!
I read somewhere that an ole farmer type fella had predicted this winter to be particularly bad, i think he based it on some sort of cycle system?? not sure what but i think the jist of it was that this year would be the same as one say 25 or 35 yrs ago? I cant remenber what year he was saying it would replicate!!
its starting to look good steve, the stone is top notch too. many thanks!
and thanks for your words tony!
