Hi,

Can anyone suggest a remedy for removing/disguising a splash of wood stain treatment from a newly laid patio?

It's Cuprinol 5 year wood treatment - Autumn Gold colour (used for waterproofing sheds, fences etc). Its very good I just don't want it on the patio!

The patio is a Bradstone 'Old Town' circle of riven flags which is quite pale in colour and the wood stain is fairly noticeable unfortunately.

Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Kind Regards,

Richard.

Try some dry silica sand ( block paving type ). Rub it in hard with hand, of stiff brush, then sweep of, often removes at least worst of stain, then nature will do its own thing in time.
Or paint the lot over in stain!
Ability.
