Thats good to hear gonchy, thanks for the feedback.
Simon, we bought the block saw to cut out our own Yorkstone. We were finding that the lead times from the Yorkshire quarries were unreliable and it was causing us lots of headaches. We put up with it for a couple of years and then decided to invest in the wire saw. It works out a little cheaper for us to cut our own blocks but the main benefit to us is having the control over the supply. I took a couple of shots of the wire saw last week when it was really cold.

wow that saw looks like an amazing bit of kit , and keeping it in house you have full control over lead times, is that water or ice coming of it , its hard to say for sure from here ..

A couple of years ago we launched a trade sample pack. It went down really well but the cardboard box wasnt strong enough to hold the heavy stone samples. Its taken a while to sort out but we have just launched the new and improved version.

It comes in a hard plastic briefcase style box with a foam insert to hold all the samples safely. All the samples have got a detailed label on the back. There is also a QR code on the back of each stone sample which allows you to quickly re-order a sample by scanning the code with a smart phone.

Its been a hell of a journey to get this made as we have had to test out different boxes and different foam inserts and also to sourve them at a reasonable price. In the end we had to source the boxes from Germany and the foam was sourced from the uk

Some reason cant get photo to show up in the post, photo bucket seems to have changed the rules

Glad that's sorted. Every potential client i have been to has loved the sample box but that cardboard box was useless and broke pretty quickly. I ended up carrying the samples about in my hardhat
I'll make sure I bug you for one when I put in my first order for the year.

Fixed image for you
