I have pointed between my patio and the house. Should I have done? It is below the damp course. If the answer is NO then can you say why and how important it is that I remove the pointing. I am concerned about whether during temperature changes the Patio will place a stress on the house. :)

!!!! Your house is (or ought to be!) a hell of a lot tougher than your patio.

Trust me - your property is not at any risk at all because you;ve pointed the joint between house and patio - this is absolutely normal practice.
