I agree with sean and support team GB

I don't normally watch any of the games at all other than maybe the highlights on the news but this time its different and even I have got into watching a lot of the various sports which I would not normally give a second glance, it will never happen again in the UK in my lifetime so live for the moment I say

the gymnastics for one were awesome, we have skills but the training what's gone into what they do is unbelievable, the rowing and the bike race with only split seconds between each team, it just has a buzz when we are up there with the best in the world :)

Great weekend of sport.

In a couple of weeks it will be Talentless Britain, X F&cker and bloody Ant & Deck, what a change to have something worth watching on a Saturday/Sunday evening.

Shame the Scottish lad cost the English girl a gold though :)

Good on Richard Branson winning the 100m at his age. An incredible amazing and enthralling games so far loving it really don't care about the negatives you're complaining about something you can't do anything about so you'd be mad to not make the most of it cos once it's gone that's it we'll not see it again and some of the spectacles and crowds have been the best the worlds ever seen and are unlikely to be ever repeated. Britain is putting on a very very good show check the foreign media out for yourself it's all very positive.

we are enjoying it in the lout household
slight shame that professional sportsmen and women take part now but everything is about money now
what federer and murray have in common with ben ainslie and co is beyond my comprehension
to my mind federer didnt give a monkeys either way

one year ago the newspapers where full of reports about young people rioting, burning shops out, muggings, even young and old people getting killed. In contrast today the papers full of sportsmen/women bringing glory to our country. Great role models. Keep fit clubs and weight loss societies are at an all time memership high. Glad to see in a way that we have all benefited at last from the lottery, we're all winners :;): :)

Aye the olympics doesn't mean as much to the top pro's they're much more focused on the grand slams etc much more kudos for winning them. Fed played like he couldn't be bothered yesterday although it means a lot to Murray I don't think he'll ever get above no 4 or win a slam. You get the impression with him that he plays tennis cos his mum tells him to and he'd rather be on the playstation.

I,d like to think getting his first big win,and i know its not grand slam, might just get his head into the right gear.he can play some great tennis, get a couple of sets up then it goes t'ts up .this must help him .What a top weekend of sport; was'nt taken by woman boxing though, just did'nt seem right
