hi , how many tonne bags of ballast and how much cement would i need to lay a concrete path 26m2 at a depth of 150mm .

3.9 cube get ready mix in you fool.......

why so deep for a pavement?

if you really want to lay it yourself then its for c20

You will need approximately.....

1280 Kg of cement
2520 Kg of sand
4680 Kg of gravel
1200 Litres of water

remeber bulk bags are 880kg ish not 1000kg

cheers giles,going there saturday to set up shutter . will have a look see if maybe could get minimix up the back of house.at a rough guess how much would the ballast and cement cost

8 tonne ballast = £200
50 bags of dust = £200
2 lads all day = £300

4 cube = around £ 500
3 lads barrowing for an hour and a half +£300

i would go minimix or volumetric every time
