I presume that as mintcake is used by people who climb mountains, and parish has a mountain to climb....

GIrlfriend started reading the book last week, initial report was that it was crap and that a virgin would run for the hills if somebody got them to sign a contract and showing them their room full of dominatrix stuff. Today I got "Starting to see why men want their girlfriends to read this book...... it's good :D"

After I told her how well the book had sold
"So British women aren't as prudish as they would have people believe. There must be a lot of Ana's out there waiting for their Christian Grey :P"

Someone mentioned it's based on the twilight books? All my female mates are reading it and swooning over it, the bits I've read early doors without any kinky stuff where boring and poorly written, maybe some could hack through it and just leave the filth, you know like watching gladiator you skip all the talking bits get straight to the action.

yeah, started as twilight fan fiction and the woman who wrote it looks like a swamp donkey.

can't argue with the results though.
