We are considerring buying a house that has a PIC driveway. Neither my wife nor I like the colour/pattern of the existing drive, however, we really love the house. Therefore, my questions is, what are the options we would have for changing its look and what price range would each option be? The area in question is 65-70 sq m.

As I see it we could:

1. Replace with block paving.

2. Replace with PIC - not too keen on this idea!

3. Cover it? - is it possible to cover it and make it look like a "pebble" drive?

4. Any other ways I do not know about?

Thank you in advance for any and all repsonses.

Prices vary throughout the country, so you should check with local installers, but, very roughly.....

1 - 50-70 quid per m²

2 - 60-100 quid per m²

3 - Possibly. See Resin based surfacing

4 - If the existing PIC is coming out, you can have any form of paving that takes your fancy. It may just be possible to do a thin bitmac overlay, too, but I wouldn't be too keen on this.
