i think they are micro implants that you have bob
they drill straight through
just as good but more prone to infection
my father in law had 4 and they all fell out within 3 months
I dunno which is best just went with the dentists advice

I should be ok the dentist who done mine is my regular dentist and I go for regular check ups anyway. :)
