Circle of bricks question - Best solution for a small circle

Can you help me?

I have a circular lawn, which has a brick edging.

I want to create a small circle of bricks in the centre of this lawn - which trace the circumference of a circle with a radius of 68cm (this is so the proportions fit with the 'outer' circle).

One issue which somebody raised is that because the circle is so small (it may be just 15-20 standard size bricks) - it may end up looking like a threepenny bit if the bricks are laid to end-to-end. I've looked at the (superb!) information on this site, and I can see that they have a point - also that the mortar 'gap' may just be too large - and so look poor.

What are the potential solutions to this?

1. Turning the bricks so they point inwards to the centre of the circle - but this will create a jarring effect - and will lose the harmony of two similar designed circles.

2. Using 'half-sized' bricks/cobbles? Do such things exist? Would they be appropriate?

3. Using a kit? But I only need the outer circumference of the circle - the centre would be gravel (or some such).

cut the bricks with the right angle on them thus making a perfect circle of any size u could also do this the half bricks.

Cutting the blocks seems to be the only viable option to me....
