I envy you but i reckon theres nowt better than working for yourself, just take a second to consider the perks...
No cash flow,
no paid holidays,
vehicle bills,
hiring decent men,
being the guy makes a loss at the end of bad jobs,
working in to the dark to keep to schedule,
pricing work at weekends when your mates are on the razzle,
taking phone calls from some crap online site who want to advertise for you despite telling them that you dont want to...3 times a bloody day!
Paying for insurances,
Surely you will miss being quiet and not knowing where the mortgage money is coming from?
Yep self employed is awesome

It's been ten years now since i got offered money i couldn't refuse to go back on the cards for a firm. The money was big then but now with 3 wage drops, working away all the time, my lodge being taxed, price of fuel etc: i struggle to keep up. Not enough time weekends to do foreigners. It is nice to get the holiday pay i must admit. At least you have the van and fuel card, they will save you a few bob hag'. good luck.
