Tried phoning local skip companies and asking them how much to tip a load?

The one I use takes £15 a tonne cash. Minimum charge of 1T.

Now I just need to find someone with a big hole I can drop 30T of rubble in for free

Im tempted to do something like that, need more cash though. A raised platform the height of the transit would be handy for storing the gas bottles, I would have to build the wall, fill the hole, get readymix to top it up then get tall metal fencing put around it though

we skip alot on the bigger jobs but if it doesnt warrant a full 8yd skip we haul it all back to our yard. Wood in any shape or form onto the fire, rubble/old type 1/sand etc are used to fill up big holes in the gaffers fields and any soil is used to cover it all up! And ofcourse an old 8yd skip lying there for scrap metal.
