I have paid my accountant roughly £120 per annum for this insurance
he has now merged with a larger group and they want £300 a year :(
I understand it covers accounts fees in the event of an investigation by HRMC,but is it worth it?
It seems similar to the critical illness cover i was flogged years ago
£150 a month because as they so helpfully put it
"1 out of 3 people get cancer at some time in their lives"

my mates mrs was diagnosed with MS after paying into such a policy for 12 years and they said that MS is not a critical illness

so do any of the brew cabin have this insurance? is it worth it and who with
regards LLL :)
"what,you want paying today??"

Thats about what I pay Tony it always galls me to write the cheque but getting investigated is not a question of if its when so it'll be cheaper in the long run.
Can't see it from my house

waste of money
If you keep straight accounts, and you know you have done everything by the book, what could they find wrong?
Just another insurance rip off

It's not them finding something wrong that is the problem, it is them f*cking you about for a year or longer whilst investigating you.

its nothing to do with me dan,if they choose to investigate you ,they give your accountant untold work which you must pay for
I have nothing to worry about re:accounts, but dont want a 3 grand bill from my accountant working for them!
