crikey DT takes me back i used to ride a DT125,a malaguti 50 and a cz250
in the early 80s all the lads wanted bikes ,and the roads were full of them, but the car has taken over now
I had a few near misses so gave bikes up
the DTs were good fun,bit underpowered but good enough for me at 16

I had a dt 50 with a big bore kit, was well quick (off a cliff). Anyone here had a fs1e?

the fizzie was the most common road bike when i was 16
as i said i had an unrestricted malaguti 50,with drop handlebars and a chrome tank!

it was very quick. but even quicker to break down, pushing a motorbike 5 miles home is no fun :(
i dont know any young lads now into bikes,
thing is with bikes you have to accept that at some point the odds will catch up and you will have a nasty knock or worse
a good friend of mine has just had 3 months off work with a cage around his leg after hitting some random debris on a roundabout in oxford
another mate was off for 18 months after a corsa decided to swap lanes without looking and wacked him into the central reservation at 70
lot more fun than cars though
