For the second time this year another friend of mine has been diagnosed with testicular cancer. Both of them realised they had a lump but did shag all about it for fear of embarrassment and buried their heads in the sand hoping it would go away. The latest one has possibly left it to late and may die as a result. I also know 2 fellas from my school days who've had it and all 4 of them are mid 30's and very fit. A quick shuffle (fnar fnar) in the shower is all it takes and it could save your life. The guy that got it earlier this year eventually sought help because he realised he's no use to his family dead. Food for thought.

Im just getting over Thyroid cancer, One in 500 apparently, :0 Felt a lump in my throat, got it biopsied and bang. Im just the other side of radio therapy and the prognosis is good. No thyroid later and not alot of energy, but Im alive  .Spoke to a fella on line who had the 'plastic' type, he has 2 months to live. So keep those check ups going, the big 'C' isnt so rare nowadays.
You never know guys.

a million ways to die it seems
there must be an underlying cause why certain cancers have become more prevalent in recent years
same with diabetes
when i was a kid a diabetic was a novelty
now they are 2 a penny
tv dinners anyone?

3/4rs of the way thro Radium, plus a bit of chemo at the end, then an op. If,for no other reason, get yourselves sorted, never Knowing when next you have to go to the loo, the pain, the indignity of having drs and hospital staff shoving fingers and/or apparatus up everywhere, being tired and peed off, appetite all over the place, no alcohol intake, and an uncertain future - seriously, this is no fun, most of these cancers can be sorted if caught early, so don't wait!!
