London Stone Paving wrote:If you want some multi coloured crazy paving you can have it FOC. Got a skip full of the stuff. Only problem is that your patio would look like Vera Duckworths house
I had to google vera duckworth's house.
If I was nearer London I may have taken you up on that offer. I'm planning on laying all the odd bits and pieces left over from jobs in my yard (if I ever find the time). Wouldn't look too far out of place considering my office is bright yellow and I picked up some astro turf that I was thinking of using as carpet
That 20m2 of fossil mint you need is about a crate and a quarter. Just say the word and I will fill the rest of the crate up with the stuff. Will be mixed colour though
I hate to see the stuff go to waste Rab. We get rid of 2 skips full of off cuts and broken stone a week. I reckon at least half of its usable. Would keep it but there is no room to store it anywhere
you want to hook up with crusher dan, get the stuff crushed up and supply to your local customers who collect from you or you deliver to using a crane off delivery. for this business idea I will only charge 10% of the profits made.
Thank you very much for the offer, more than kind, I think I will reduce the area to be paved, I found a place which is doing some very inexpensive slabs
If I am laying the patio against the house and have screeded the area, how do i lay the patio near the house without messing up the screed?
I know how to work out the fall, but how do i mark it out with my pegs?
ok, have done quite a bit, laid down hardcore, bedding and slabs but have not yet done the pointing since its been raining I have covered the are area with tarpaulin, but wondering how the rain is going to affect it as it not going to let up for the next few days it seems
There is not much you cann really do about the rain. Your doing the right thing by keeping it covered up. In between rain it might be worth pulling the sheet off and removing any excess water with a brush
so I am hoping to finish today it seems the rain has finally stopped!! I need to lay the edging and finish laying flags by the house which need cutting to fit, but want to know the best way to approach this
