So, following on from a previous thread, I have settled on a sorting out a stag weekend in Spain, due to the fact we all want to go and see a La Liga game when were over there.

I originaly thought of going to Benidorm, and going to Valencia for the day to watch the football as it aint to far away. I thought benidorm was ideal as we have a mix of ages from 28-60 going and we can all take Benidorm for what it is! But I have been thinking of doing the whole weekend in Valencia itself, somewhere a bit different.

So, if anyone has been or has any info, id be glad to hear.

Is it suitable for a stag party?
Is the much nightlife?
Is the beer expensive?

That sort of thing really!

Or should I stick with my original plan?

Cheers

Please don't go to Valencia. It is a clutured place full of people who don't get pissed & chav up the area. No offence but the Spanish are very civilised people with sensible attitudes to alcohol. The majority of the English that go there seem to drink far too much. Equivilant to raping the place up the arse with a donkey cock.

If, on the other hand, you are sensible El Carmen is a good part of Valencia. Go where the locals go. Fantasctic food & not too expesnive. I don't know it well enough to give reccomendations but it is a good city. You can burn down Benidorm for all I care.

different strokes for different folks Al
I know some quite decent people that go to benidorm a lot
its like their local but with sun
i am a big fan of Spanish food but it doesn't make me better than someone eating a Sunday roast in benidorm drinking alcopops
if you are looking for cheap beer JD then benidorm is the place
culture i would go for valencia or figures bearing in mind most stag dos dont visit museums
cheers LLL :)

Yeah as said in my original post, I know what Benidorm is about and will take it for what it is.

Al, Valencia seems to be on most of these stag weekend websites, dont think its that unusual these days, and probably attracts the stag partys to suit. Not every stag party would chav up a place, although I agree that most probably would!

LLL, probably will side with Benidorm. I can say now, that I know it would be a good crack, you know what your getting there. As much as i would love to go to Valencia, taking a large group of lads is a gamble, getting in bars/clubs etc.
Could possibly make for a shite weekend!

Cheers
