I've just bought some Kurtail to attack the mares tails in our back garden. I'm going to let them come up a bit to make sure they're growing at full speed then hit them.
Will spend all summer tilling and killing off regrowth and then turf before winter. Hopefully this stuff will be as effective as the above.
Ooft that Kurtails exspensive stuff you can buy 10ltrs of Agritox for the same price as .5ltrs of that a lot of those Phosphonic acid based types can defoliate shrubs and trees so be careful with drift.
It is but then it goes on at 40:1 so it goes ten times as far. I have used depitox as a lawn selective which i assume must be agritox's amenity step-brother.
I know, it is expensive, but it does look like a good buy. The garden is a blank canvas having been reclaimed from years of overgrowth, so drift shouldn't be too much of a worry. I'm obliterating all vegetation, back to bare soil, new patio area and returf.
then you'll be delighted with the kurtail results. It cuts right through the waxy layer that reduces round-ups effectivness on some plants. A tiny splash of fairy liquid helps too.
