Without knowing what else is being done it is hard to understand why it happens. Sometimes temporary works,as part of the enabling works is needed, sometimes for H&S reasons.

Shameful, but probably done for H&S reasons, and cost I suppose. Might be doing a better job when they have more funds, you'd hope.

Yeah but if it's just for h&s and to stop flooding a quick sheet piled coffer dam would have done till they did the flood work 2 days max councils love wasting our money
