2 large tri folds on the kitchen jut out we tanked it, then installed linear drains on the main patio infront of the doors, the step takes us back 150mm below dpc for the path so you get a seamless transition from kitchen to patio

Giles, what's going on with the rugby pitch. Are you putting drainage in then replacing it?
If you were just re levelling ans seeding, then a blec stoneburier is surely the answer

its a new 4 acre field that has been bought from a farmer, he used it for silage.
so we are doing the initial leveling and setting out of the pitches there is a 3 metres difference corner to corner. so splitting it in 2 have 2 full size pitches. 110mx70m there will be a 1.3 metre step/berm between the pitches.
to get the pitches level we need to cut and fill +/- 1 metre on both of them to get them level. photo so far are the top soil being stripped and saved on the other pitch to go back over the clay once the levels have been achieved. so we rotovated it and then piled the top soil into berms now moving it off the 1st pitch so we can start moving the clay.
trying to sort out a 20 ton komatsu dozer we've found at handy money, but transport is an issure escort vehicle etc.
i relayed the second team pitch about 3 years ago using a 2.5m wide blec stone burier serious bot of kit, stalled our old 100hp john deere, had to use it in creeper gears doing a metre a minute but created a lovely seed bed.
we'll power harrow and then blec the soil once its back in place
our blec
few weeks after starting work was back to its former glory, get trained on 4 times a week then played on 3 times so was very compacted and bare

just mass fill, too dangerous to have lads laying at that depth
going to chuck about 25m in bring it up to about 800 below damp.
he let us step the footing so, its 2.3m deep all the way along the back and 5 metres up each side then in steps up to 1.7m then 1.4 then the front strip footing furthest from the trees is at 1.1m.

cleared all the soil back to clay and started moving the clay to the other corner of the field
getting a bit slippy with the rain, funny doing a power slide with 20 tons of tractor and trailer
guy drove into the field today in a brand new range rover, think it was the first mud it had ever seen, wanted some footings doing so jumping on that next week, can tip the stuff on this job so handy. those new range rovers are the boss he was showing us, the dials are all computerised when you get in its a picture of a sun set then you put key in and you get speedo etc very cool. and with the central tv thing the driver sees the sat nav and the pasenger can watch tv due to the angle very cool haha, on a more important note fixed the radio in the tractor so no longer dying of boredom while loading haha.
