Laugh or cry?

Since my car broke down and i scrapped it, i have been getting the train monday mornings to slough and back home friday. A couple of lads started with another firm ( also from eastbourne ) and said "jump in with us." Great, home friday night with no train worries. They said " pick you up monday morning 4.45. Waited and waited outside. They just phoned 05.30 to say: sorry mate forgot all about you, they already 40 miles up the m'way. Was outside in the rain for 45 minutes. So now, i either walk half hour to train and pay £57, or wait till off peak and pay £28, or have the day off because i will of lost the subsistence for being late, plus the hours and bonus, so hardly worth it. The irony is i bought a car yesterday and told the garage i would pick it up thursday once they have valeted and new mot, also save on a months tax. :laugh: or :p

I tend to expect this sort of thing when have to rely on other people. I on the other hand, if i promise you something, then you have a first class cast iron guarantee i will deliver. Old school, that,s why.
