A few of the Irregulars have been trying out the new Brew Cabin. I have to go out 10 minutes ago, so I haven't time to PM each of them individually, so it's a mass appeal.

If you've been asked to test the New BC, can you have another go over the next few days and let me know how it goes?

Ta.

me neither and what with the contractor only area I'm thinking of taking my business elsewhere, there are plenty of other forums that want an overweight, clueless, diy'ers opinion!!! :D :D

dont panic fellas
its the new paving expert website
similar to this one, but harder for spammers and hackers to get at
TBh its just a jazzed up version of this one
once the gaffer gets rid of the green text it should be ok :;):

works fine for me,you have to re register with the same details but other than that its fine
my only criticism is that there is a lot of information on the page (doh! its the point i know)
but maybe more concise descriptions in tabs would make it easier for new readers to navigate
ie "block paving" "shed bases" "natural stone" " patios" "driveways"

and then more tabs under each of the headings

its a gazillion times more than i can do on the interweb, but thats how i see it
cheers LLL :)

I can't understand why anyone should need to re-register. It's a copy of the very same database used in this version of the Brew Cabin, so everything should be the same.

Not sure what you means by "too much info on the page". I've tried to mimic the current layout as far as practical so as to keep it familiar for regulars and to stick with a format that's been working well enough for the last 6 years.

Do you mean the categories, which are the same as we have now? Do you want alternative categories?
