I had the same issues with the degussa reps over geo shit ©
they blamed,me ,the labourer,the client,the client's dog,the trees.the weather ad nauseum.
finally we got an ex gratia payment out of them enough to repoint this 1 particular patio with sand and cement
put it this way it took 3 hours to rake out 40 M of 450 slabs thats how soft it was
anyway i steer clear of feb/degussa products now and after reading this thread wil be adding resiblock to my list of
"crap building products"
why is it only the germans can make stuff that works?
vorsprung durch Luton anybody?

If it is any use we have a hot machine that goes up to 220F so it should be able to handle this. I don't rent it out, but would try to help so minimal costs if you want to try it.
As for AS1 this is the stuff for removing Resiblock "poly" sealers but I'm not to sure with the water based stuff which is why I suggested heat.
As stated before we still have an on-going problem with a Resiblock sealer so can't comment on the other issues.

Gavin if you want to give me a call or email me via my website over the weekend, I'll see what I can do to help.

I have suffered accusations and abuse from them and threats from their solicitors...and for what i believe is no fault of mine.
I will try to see it thru on my own if i can...but thanks again....i enjoy the comerarderie of this site...it is truly unique and miles ahead of anything else in it's class.

If they what to waste money with silly letters from there breif, gavinruane wrote:I recieved a letter from their solicitors last week threatening to sue me if i continue to bad mouth their client.
I nearly fell off my chair laughing.
I would fire one back from my breif stating the product is not fit for the job it is supposed to be used on, see what that brings as unless you hound them they will forget your problems and dodge out off any responsibility for resiblock ,
to find the posting click on search at the top off page and type in resiblock and look down higlighting the ares to search in there are lots to read MSH
paving, mini-crusher, mini-digger hire and groundwork
