Your link has been rectified, Big Dig, and I've now managed to get a link in on the green navigation bar at the top of each page of the Brew Cabin.

Don't forget: for you contractors to get maximum benefit from this scheme, you each need to link to one another and not rely on just a few of us hosting 'hub' pages.

And before anyone mentions it: yes! I know we could set-up a web-ring, but I haven't got the time just at the moment....maybe later this month when the post-holiday backlog has cleared.

Ambient, the best thing to do is put your details on the back of a £50 note and send to...

I have added you mate, but you need to set up a link page on your site so we all benifit from the process.

Will i be too late to join in to this in a couple of weeks?
Just in the process of having my website design and hosting etc changed so i can add all the links as soon as it goes live?
Would do it all myself but i think even cookie is above me in the dunce class :p

As this is very much an ad hoc process, joining the list is simply a matter of contacting the other participants and asking can you join their gang if you post links on your website.

Anyone wanting to add their details to the links page on this site should email me.

A web-ring, Cookie, is a series of linked sites that share a particular theme. Each participant displays a short piece of code that identifies them as a member of the ring, and which links to a previous/next/random site in the ring, or a list of all sites. The idea is that, if you were so inclined, you could click 'next site' on each site you came to and eventually you'd end up back where you started, having visited every site in the process.

They are a very effective method of linking sites and generating brownie points for the search engines. I used to run one for a gardening group I was involved with, and it was (and still is) very successful.

Very interested, if someone could let me know what we should put on our site I'll get it set-up as we have a links page already.
