I'm going to stop watching the forecast.Watched the forecast last nite, showing wet and windy for most the day (northwest of engerland) thing is when i watch the forecast showing rain, night before, i tend think mmm a little lie in in the morning.Open the curtains,it's bleedin dry.
I designated today a day off. Never is tho a day off from being self employed running a business. Doing my accounts, quotes, paying suppliers, watch a bit of porn, speak to customers, take dog out for long walks as he knows im home for t'day.Do the housework, cook the tea, pick my niece up from school. My gran wants to go to Aldi. Oh well.

It's only been spits and spots here all day. I could have gone out but after seeing the forecast last night decided to concentrate on paperwork today and go out visiting sites tomorrow when it's supposed to be sunny intervals.

What's the odds on it peeing down all day tomorrow now that I've committed myself?

I've also given up.

had an awful day. O2 blocked my phone, had about 3 hours sleep, had a big strimming job on today, and slipped on a tree root - twisting my wrist and neck, and then hit a buried house-brick which then shattered, covering my hands and shins in blood blisters.

well we went in expecting the "hurricane" it spat a bit till 8.30 then dried up
got a gauge in the mixer and had a productive day, just as we hit the motorway coming home it started lashing down.
a perfect day for a boss

Called a delay till 10 with the rain coming down early doors. Like Tony, hit the M40 at 4 to go and cut lawns and it hammered down. Home for a hot bath instead.

So bizarre the forecast thing - still find the met office better than most - (don't mean to suck granny teach eggs) - choose your region -

- as you've all said, totally wrong today - got drenched....

We did 52 ton of handlay, it was wet but not too bad, been out in worse.

Decent thicknesses (no overlays) so the rain actually helped.

But, still, we're all pissed-off with the crap weather. "Summer" has gone.

That implies we had a summer in the first place.
