14"?
have you travelled by time from the 1960's?
i think the smasung 42 was about 700 quid and the sony 50" about 1200 3 years ago
you have got to shop around a bit
i use cnet for up to date unbiased reviews on techy stuff
the TV i bought was a Sony kdlw a1 2u, list price was over £3000, got it for £2.500 on kelkoo at the time, the largest LCD on the market. its a good TV but would never pay that sort of money again for a television, once paid £350 for a DVD player (Sony). when first got together the girls only cost £20 from asda, every pirate etc, plays it. the Sony, Glasgow region only. I`ll never spend that sort of money on this type of thing again. TWAT :O
Yup, I agree with the dvd thang, I paid £600 for a video years ago, :p :p
Then I paid £70 for a dvd last year and its knackered, so then I bought a one for £20 at asda, still going strong.
Ive got a Sony Bravia 42" in the living room for me Sky HD sports and a Toshiba Regza 37" (optimal for PS3) in the play room with cinema sound set-up (she gets her 'neighbours' , I get blue-ray surround )
