I was watching some re-runs of the `Life of Grime` series on cable, i think the channel was called something like Watch, Dave or Bilge

Anyhow it involved some drainage lads, a pest control team and road sweepers in Bristol, bad practice included manholes left open without barriers, rat poisen put down so that tiddles the cat could get to it (no bad thing in my book) and a pest contol guy inviting a women to come up his ladder and look at the angry wasps nest.

Big disclaimer at the end of the programme saying procedures have now been changed, how come these guys dont have health and safety bods watching their every move like we do. ???
