I had a sackful today.

Wiper on our NH tractor decided only to wipe the top two inches of the windscreen.

The blade of our pole Saw is now s shaped, and refuses to cut anything

Coming home in my car, the wipers blew the fuse

My dad got made redundant

and now the oven keeps going out while we're trying to cook lasagne.

One to forget me thinks

Not had a bad day but nearly passed out laughing this morning.

Had a lad cleaning out silt from a manhole base and he was taking his time so i gave him a nudge, "nearly done" he shouts "just got to pull this wire out of a branchline"

The "wire" was the tail of a partially decomposed and very bloated rat, i have never seen and man self levitate and squeal like a pig before, very entertaining though :D

I was travelling back from south-west England yesterday, Friday the 13th, and how spooky is this: not even a hint of a tailback at the M5/M6 junction in Birmingham and not a single accident on the M6 in Cheshire! Freaky!!

Unmarked cars on the M6 yesterday. You only know they're about when they have some BMW (it's *always* a BMW) pulled onto the hard shoulder and the blues'n'reds are flashing in the back window.

My Friday the 13th ran smoothly, until i got home from work. One of the kids took it upon him self too let the other kid slam the front door shut on 4 of his fingers. It was 11:35 pm when we got out of Wigan A&E! ...... at least i didn't have too endure the evenings soap operas on the goggle box with the Mrs!

I got pulled Monday morning for not having a seat belt on, i calmly explained to the nice officers that they were wrong and that a little alarm sounds in the cab if i dont wear it and it drives you nuts.

Suprisingly they said fair enough and let me out of the back of their motor and on my merry way, i think they were just looking to bag someone early on a Monday for a DD.

Fair play to them though they backed down and didn`t start climbing all over the van and tyres, mind you it was raining !

Not as south-west as that, Dave - just as far as Tewkesbury. It's dried out, nearly! :D

I only had to go into Tewkesbury for fuel and a butty. I was looking at a site in one of the nearby villages, and staying some place called Twyning, where you'd think, with a name like that, you'd get a decent cuppa, but no! El Cheapo taybags full of dust and not a drop of milk to be had.

Funnily enough, I didn't get pestered in Myther, I didn't get a kiss in Puckrup, no chocolate bars in Ripple, and I'm not sure what I should have expected in Shuthonger! :p
