Hi has anyone had any contact with approved planning data services? They just cold called me offering to use me as an approved tradesman. (Don't know how when they just picked me out from previous advertising). Couldn't get a straight answer from them but they seem to be in the business of passing on new planning applications. They gave me their website approvedplanning.co.uk and it looks like you pay to be in a brochure sent out to people who have had planning applications approved. Has anyone used them and are there any decent leads to be had? Cheers Ian.

After a firm contacted me offering the same sort of deal, but this firm advertised my business name on the front cover of a booklet that went around the yellow pages book.
I paid them about £300 and I never seen them again, I called and a lady explained that they had ripped off a load of firms in the Newcastle area.
Oooo to be wet behind ones ear.

Have to agree with what others have already said
It sounds like the most that you will get, if anything, is a photocopy of approved planning applications from the local rag or a print out from online instead
Or you might end up paying an extortionate amount of money to them - in return for them perusing the planning approvals in the local rag or online, and then them simply cold dropping a leaflet with a few trade names on it to the applicant
As our friendly lager lout from Luton says, you could cold call the planning approvals yourself, and then post out a leaflet or flyer for the cost of a stamp
