Had mine done, finished and a nice rebate before xmas!

I tried that self assesment could not get my head around it, went to an accountant in the end.

Who on here bothers with an accountant?

I'd be lost without my accountant he's a bloody genius and gives great advice but keeps it all legal. I think his last bill fror the year was about £750 which is money well spent becuase he saves me many times more than that and takes a lot of weight off my shoulders. Also an accountants return is less likely to be queried than a self assessment.
Can't see it from my house

Much simpler in the north....

A Two Bob = 10p
A Ten Bob = 50p
A fiver = £5
A tenner = £10
A twenty = £20
A fifty = £50
A Nundred = £100
A Grand = deposit on a nice little two-up-two-down

...sadly, we have lost ha'pennies, thrupenny bits, sixpences, and half-crowns, which were *real* money.
