Welcome Chris.

What loads are you expecting to carry? Tonnage?

How many staff do you have? Any more than two then a crew-cab makes sense......

i put a few other lads his way for motors dan ,but weirdly he was cheap on some not so on others
got to get a few prices
had the cabstar 18 months 10,000 miles and no real issues yet apart from the fuel situation and the cardboard stuff they used on the back is getting a tad tatty

Hi all,

thanks for all the advice, I need to convert the truck to have cage/solid sides as we are tree sugeons as well. ( proper ones as well, not pikeys!!)

Weight is not such a problem but be good to carry 2t if possible,

have 2-3 people so might be good to have double cab as well.

don't like Fords so that makes choices easier I think.

any more suggestions and where is best place to look for one?

cheers
chris :p

if you want to carry two tonnes, and you want a tipper, then you will need to get beyond the 3.5 tonner ranger
then you need operators licence and expensive service costs.

Most tree surgeons have a 3.5 tonner, but often overload them.

try Tipmaster. they do a tree surgeon tipper body for most tippers
