Thieving barstewards

... Second week back after the ankle ligaments. First week of kids holidays (coincidence?) some little fecker went in our van and had away with my phone.

Afternoon taken up with getting crime reference number, talking to provider and making insurance claims.

Its a crew cab transit so no boot. We were always getting tools and such from it, hence why it wasnt locked.

Another gang had a blower nicked the other week and the fuel tank siphoned

i think it might pay to get a secure safe put under the seat or use the glove box if its got one. failing that loiter with a shovel till the thieving git(s) turn and solve the problem permanently!

Had the old bill round this pm - had we seen 2 asian lads in beaten up Peugeot? - evidently they'd been nicking tools from builder's pick-up, half mile down the lane - he spotted them - smashed windscreen, rearscreen & stove in every panel !!
Old bill thought it was hilarious - good on 'im...
