They can "Get away" with claiming £400 for food per month!!??

MP's have been on a bloody good screw for years at taxpayers expense - it's about time they were brought down to a sensible level.

At the moment they can claim for items up to £25 without receipts.


Unbelieveable! If they can get away with it, then why can't we?? One missing receipt for us and that's it, we loose the money!

But, even at £30/day, they are still on a good screw! They won't loose, put it that way. It actually works in their favour, if they work, say 15 days a month up there........£450!!!!

And the John Lewis list!!!! What a pisstake that is.

I've always worked on the principle that anyone wanting to stand for political office should be disqualified on the grounds that they want to stand for political office.

To be fair, the Brits are nowhere near as bad as some of the other nations, but it does seem to be a common thread throughout all levels of office, from parish council to House of Nobs that their number one priority is themselves.
