Some concrete advice please!! I have read/been told conflicting information on what is the best way to construct a free standing wall on a patio area. Wall no more than 400mm high, with a coping to finish. I realise this may be old hat but can you advise for clarity please?
a) Provide 100mm DTP 75mm C20 concrete 450mm wide footings?
b) Provide 100-150mm C20 concrete 450mm wide footings (as per site)?
c) DPC required (as per site), frost proof engineering bricks or otherwise?
d) If the wall is doubled using the stretcher bond method are wall ties needed for a wall height less than 450mm?
e) Same footing width required single or double?
Help appreciated thanks
:)

if the wall is that low, footings 225mm deep and 22g mm wise would be fine as long as the ground is not soft
no dpc in garden walls
