Are all plumbers complete tos*ers ? Too rich ? Too much work on? To ignorant to let you know whats going on ? Having spent sunday and monday chasing out walls and floors taking up floor boards ie doing all the sh*t jobs for the man, and having a cast iron guarantee he would be here this morning. so as not to hold the job up, plasterers in thursday! 9.30 at night no plumber and only his answer phone to abuse ! yes we all run late have the unexpected but why is it ,of all the trades plumbers take the p*ss the most ? !! Sorry rant over, lets just hope he turns up tomorrow for a very busy and productive day at work. no doubt the bill will reflect it ! Tos*er!

Having also been having this conversation with my wife who is looking for a carrer change. She just sugested training to be a plumber ! I said i thought it would be a great idea as she is always running late, never answers her phone and costs me a fortune ! so to add to the bad day at the office it looks like the sofa tonight . No bloody sence of humour ! Women and plumbers!! :p

Thats the usual, too much work, not enough qualified people.

Surely not the first time you heard your wife say that? I get it all the time...mostly because I have a rather large garden and no time or incentive to do it for her as I used to my clients. She won't accept my quotation either!

Busmans holiday and all that...

I think with plumbers the call back for leaks is quite high. have you seen the amount of tools they lug around, lol? my wife's boy done is apprenticeship in plumbing. Now he is qualified he's gone scaffolding, the mind boggles as they say. my wife asked me to measure under the stairs to put in storage shelves etc; i measure down and across the floor. Then she wants me to tell her what will fit in the slope. i said i need to know the size of the unit first, just measure across she said, where about i said. still cant make her see that the measure changes all the way down the slope. give up

REGRET TO INFORM YOU THAT NOT ALL PLUMBERS ARE TOSSERS, NOR ARE ALL ELECTRICIANS...CONTRARY TO BELIEF WE ALSO WORK OUTSIDE AS WELL AS IN...ITS ONLY THE JOBSWORTHS WHO LET THE SIDE DOWN AS IN ANY TRADE. Either you arent paying enough, of he had a more lucrative offer, or maybe his wife wanted something doing...iykwim:D
