Off to sunny Malta tomorrow for 5 days of rugby tour. Two matches to play (ouch) and lots of lager (double ouch).

I'll still look at pavements, but not perhaps in the usual way.

I plan not to use the digger, chainsaw, kango, etc. on Monday.

DREAM ON PABLO, IF I DO ANYTHING TO MY OWN PLACE THE MISSUS WILL JUST WANT MORE... One job at \ time is my motto... pointing and the kitchen this year, ground floor extension next year, loft conversion the year after, new bathroom year after that, driveway and fencing the year after... etc etc but only if no pqying work comes in in the meantime:D

Two wins in tight, hard games played on rock-hard pitches in 30° heat. Terrific tour, great bunch of lads and Malta was a joy.

We spent quite a bit of time in Valetta, which has some amazing archiecture. It was noticeable that the ancient paving (stone flags and cobbles) was very sound while the modern paving was a broken mess.

Of the 32 on tour, three of us are pavers and two are brickies, so there was much amusement to be had; "there's one of Rich's paths", "Danny built that wall", etc., etc.

Like the way they drive over there.. on both sides of the road...and whatever you do dont stick your finger up at the driver who just cut you up on the round about as you'll never be able to get off:D
