been having a bit of a clear out and am trying to get rid or sell all the stuff thats clogging up the place
anyway i have about 3 tonnes of large reclaimed flints that came from a cottage in suffolk(at great expense )
anyway i want to get the rear garden finished this summer and i have these flints there
any of the brew cabin wants them they can have them for a small drink (pls no teabags) but buyer must collect from close to jct 10 of the m1
it seems a shame to throw them away but its getting near to that

i tried ebay dan but the guy who won them ,didnt realise how much it would cost to move 3 t ,plus they have got to be barrowed from my garden to the street
i know the minute i chuck them, a job will come up where i need them ,but i'm trying to get the house looking like a home and not steptoe's yard :;):

Have you heard of Freecycle?
It's a website that people use to give away unwanted items rather them ending up at a landfill.
Although it's mainly household goods it's not unusual to see building materials being offered.
The site is divided into local areas (Luton is covered)so it may be possible that someone close to you will gladly take it off your hands.
Only thing is you have to subscribe before you can read and make posts but don't worry it's free and your details are not abused. I'm a signed up to a couple of local groups and think it's a great idea.
Just searched the site and it seems that most of you have already heard of Freecycle. If anyone hasn't then it's worth a look.
Oh well just goes to show that most good ideas have already been thought of.

its a sure bet the day after you get shut of the flint the phone will ring. and you will need them. sods law. did same thing with a load of super sleave skipped the lot following week was asked to price a drain run :p

Friggin' freecycle. It does work but, by God, does it bring the loonies out of the woodwork.
You advertise like this:
100 clean 600 x 600mm formed concrete slabs with riven surface. Buff colour although somewhat weathered.
You then get the following questions: How many slabs are there? What size are they? Are they natural stone? Are they flat or rough surface? What colour are they?
Then you explain that you will need a truck or a van making several trips to take them and they turn up in a Nissan Micra.
