Mrs away at a conference, daughter going of to scotland for some audition and the lad due to sleepover at a mates place...great i can relax and have a few beers tonight I thought...... Then come the first call.. son has been hit in the eye with a hockey ball and split his cheek to boot.. daughter has left her purse behind and can I drop it off at ther work before she has to catch her plane... on the was smells like burning rubber...oh no the oil light has come on and the alarm is sounding.. just make it tio daughters work place and then find i' ve no oil in the car. manage to scrounge half a litre which gets me to the nearest garage..just, limp home amid stopping and topping up in time to great son sporting a very colourful shiner and what looks like a second head.. Its now daark so I'll have to look at the car tomorrow... and I' VE NOT DONE A JOT OF WORK TODAY EITHER... :(

Sounds like a rubbish day Matt, here are some words that may help..

Some things in life are bad,
They can really make you mad,
Other things just make you swear and curse,
When you're chewing life's gristle,
Don't grumble,
Give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best.
And... I'm sure you know the rest
:p

went to work today at 7AM got home at 1.30PM to find that the house had been ransacked

please give me just 5 minutes intense therapy with a pair of skewers and these toe rags

they will burgle no more houses ever when i finish with them,in fact in my twisted fantasy they wont do an awful lot of anything after i am done

plus a pipe burst on the job i did today and flooded the clients bathroom

and luton got gubbed again

neverending

everything small and valuable dan, ipod, phone, cybershot handy cam jewellery portable(no pun intended) dvd player, and of course the money i had given the mrs friday which she cunningly keeps in a tea pot ,we have got an alarm but you hardly expect to get burgled at midday on a saturday plus she had to take young miss lagerlout to A and E so she didnt set it.

they threw a cobble through a double glazed toughened window,so no matter what locks etc you have if they want in ,they are in
when i arrived home from work it takes me 10 minutes unloading plant etc so chances are i disturbed them, and they escaped

last night i saw some dodgy geezer sitting in a car 3 doors up,so i went and pulled him straight away, sadly he was a russian waiting for his mate to land at luton airport and our road is the first residential road off of the M1,lol scared the life out of him
cheers fellas

having had a whole spate of malicious damage, theft and general embuggerance from the thievin little toerags that seem to lurk in the dark of this seemingly quiet little penisula, i personally would like to return to the days of my childhood, where any little toerag was dealt with by the community directly... The stocks were before my time...honest... but what a good way of naming and shaming and getting a little retribution to boot:p

problem is now matt ,if you give a yob a kick up the rear or a thick ear ,you'll likely end up inside yourself.
we were kept in line through the threat and action of violence upon us by the local dads and bobby, and nobody blinked an eye.

mind you most kids when i was at school had a mum and a dad that they lived with

i think its about 30% of kids now have absent fathers, which i blame for 90% of this countries ills

kids dont know when they have crossed the line because no parameters have been set. Kids need discipline, and are usually grateful for it in the long run. see all these nanny programmes on the box... every time its the adults at fault. Kids just dont know any different until they are told so imho

In my day the house breaker where treated the same as a nonce, it was the corperate thieves, fraudsters and even blaggers the young lads looked up to. now with so much "swag" that can be carried away in a carrier bag from our homes that everyone wants cheap nobody cares where it comes from, except of course the grafters who sweated teir arses off to put it there. :(
