Hello
First off what a fantastic site very helpfull
Iam doing a shed base all the ground work is done, just wondering will frost damage the 10:1 base while its going off or shall i just get on with he job

10:1 wouldn't be suitable for a shed base too weak and easily damaged best bet would be to make up a medium strength concrete as described on the main site. If you're worried about frost cover it with some carpet or cardboard for a few days and just get on with it.

If you mean the 10:1 bedding mix that you can use for laying flags/slabs as a shed base, then it's best to do this when there's no risk of frost, or when you can be sure that ambient temp won't drop below 3°C for 24 hours.
