alright lads, i need some ideas for edging a lawn, none of these lawn edgings you see advertised all over the place,to bloody expensive for a decent size lawn, one that you have used in the past and has lasted, it needs to be flush with the lawn(obviously lol) and look decent too.
any ideas welcome

cheers lads, i originally quoted on smartedge that i priced off of ebay, then got the job, lost the bid on the item and a cant see it anywhere as cheap, was probably a mistake, probably go with the tanalised timber a think, has anybody used 100mm steel sheeting, it will go rusty for sure but might not look to bad? probably not too expensive either,

you might win a turner prize or summat like that ,but years of watching and listening to others has taught me the value of history in building works ,and AFAIK steel isnt a suitable material for the average uk garden
timber, stone and concrete are the preferred materials for this damp and sceptered isle.
if you have underquoted a job you have 2 choices
1 swallow it (not good)
2 explain your predicament to the client and come to an agreement
(sometimes involves putting the tools back in the van)
cheers and good luck
