I have a couple of manholes in a concrete path round my house. Unfortunately the cast iron covers have been broken. I know that there is variation in the size of different manufacturers sizes but these covers at 23.5 x 19.5 inches (600 x 500mm) seem outside the normal nearest quoted size of 600 x 450 mm. Is there anywhere that supplies 'old' size covers or is it a case of buying new frames (seals) and covers and replacing the existing?
It always pays to ask.

unless you can source old covers you will have to get a new cover and frame, make sure the new cover is bigger rather than smaller so that has a bearing to sit on
my local BM stocks quite a lot of unusual sizes now, worth asking around
