How long should i wait? - New paved driveway

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

This may sound like a stupid question but I keep getting conflicting answers. I am about 2 have 2 driveways paved with asphalt, how long should I wait before I use the driveways? Also I hear you must seal the driveway at a certain time?? Could someone explain that? Thanks to all.

Allow 48hrs in hot (!!) weather like we have had over the last few days.

Obviously less if it is colder/wetter weather.
