Hi all

I'm trying to work out the logistics of doing my drive myself.

skips have already been ruled out due to the number required and the hassle in only having space for one at a time.

I was considering a tipper but someone on the screwfix forum suggested that this would also be difficult and I could damage the tipper when trying to load it if I've not got experience of using a digger.

He suggested a grab-loaded but I don't know what this is.

Also, would it be able to handle the waste from 85 sq meters x 200mm of excavated material?

Cheers

A grab loader would do the job, but I'd recommend against self drive (even if you can find someone to hire you one). Using the grab is an art, and an experienced operator will do the job 10 times faster and neater than you could.

There's also a health & safety issue - a grab is a nice quick way of killing someone in inexperienced hands.
